Neart Na Gaoithe (NnG) Windfarm (EDF Renewables)
This Scottish wind farm will produce up to 450 MW of low carbon energy and will have a maximum of 54 Siemens Gamesa turbines.
NnG will provide power for around 375,000 homes and will offset more than 400,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
At BECTECS LTD. we provide full Installation and Commissioning Planning services to Siemens Gamesa with overall project delivery responsibility and stakeholders’ management for NnG windfarm project during installation and commissioning campaigns to ensure on-time completion of the project and within budget.
TwinHub Project
The project will utilise Hexicon’s trademarked floating platform - TwinWind. The TwinWind design differs from other floating wind designs in that it hosts two leaning wind turbines on each platform.
Floating foundations, in general, allow offshore wind turbines to be positioned further away from shore in deeper waters when compared to conventional fixed bottom designs, reducing visual impact and improving wind conditions.
At BECTECS LTD. we provide Planning Services for early development phase of TwinHub project during Pre-FID and Detail Design phase.
Akita & Noshiro Japanese Offshore Windfarms
In a sector first for a utility-scale project in Japan, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has completed firm and unconditional orders to supply turbines for the Akita and Noshiro offshore wind farms, jointly referred to as the Akita Noshiro Offshore Wind Farm Project. The wind farms have an expected combined output of 139 MW.
MHI Vestas will supply 33 V117-4.2 MW turbines in total, to be installed with fixed-bottom foundations at both sites. Installation is expected to commence in 2022, and will include a maximum 20-year (subject to the options being exercised) service and maintenance agreements.
13 turbines will be supplied at the Akita site, while the Noshiro site will incorporate 20 turbines. In total, the projects will supply the equivalent of nearly 130,000 homes.The electric power output from the farms will be fed through both the Akita and Noshiro ports in Akita Prefecture, with an expected output of 55 MW at Akita Port and 84 MW at Noshiro Port.

Hewett Field Decommissioning project
The Hewett field decommissioning plan involves removing all installations, with production scheduled to end in late 2021. The infrastructure includes six platforms, 32 platform wells, and eight subsea wells.
All topsides and jackets will be removed and returned to shore for processing, recycling, or disposal.
By 2025, Petrofac aims to have every trace of the Hewett gas field removed.

HOST Power to X (PtX) Project (Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Electrolysers)
HOST PtX Esbjerg is a leading, Danish Power-to-X project under development, deploying large-scale industrial use of electrolysis technology on gigawatt level to produce ammonia. Powered entirely by renewables, HOST PtX Esbjerg will produce green ammonia for use in fertilisers and in fuels, contributing to the long-term sustainability of agriculture and shipping.

BP's (Netherland) and Cherry Point (US) Refineries Modification Planning for Green H2 projects
Sustainable Aviation Fuel:
SAF stands for sustainable aviation fuel. It is produced from sustainable feedstocks and is very similar in its chemistry to traditional fossil jet fuel. Using SAF results in a reduction in carbon emissions compared to the traditional jet fuel it replaces over the lifecycle of the fuel. Some typical feedstocks used are cooking oil and other non-palm waste oils from animals or plants; solid waste from homes and businesses, such as packaging, paper, textiles, and food scraps that would otherwise go to landfill or incineration.
Other potential sources include forestry waste, such as waste wood, and energy crops, including fast growing plants and algae. Air BP’s SAF is currently made from used cooking oil and animal waste fat.

DOF Subsea Atlantic Region Resource Management Planning
At BECTECS LTD. we provide Portfolio Resource Management & Planning Services to DOF Subsea Atlantic region to ensure adequate resources (labour and vessels) are available to meet the projects and tenders demands. We identify resource gaps well in advance (normally 6-12 month ahead of the peak time) and ensure proper sourcing and recruitment process are followed on a timely manner.
Offshore Windfarm Repair and Maintenance
Merkur is a 66 wind turbine offshore windfarm located in offshore Germany already in operation and producing 396MW electricity power.
At BECTECS LTD. we provide full Maintenance and Repair Planning services for 66 turbines Retrofit and Repair scope on the rear, bottom and top frames to rectify the vibration issue. The work is due to start in February 2022 and finish by November 2022.

The Triton FPSO is located in block 21/30 approximately 120 miles east of Aberdeen, and produces oil and gas from the Bittern, Clapham, Pict, Saxon, Guillemot West and North West fields.
Triton is Dana's first major operated asset in the UK, it consolidates Dana's position in the Central North Sea and is a core part of their strategy to acquire more operated positions where there is a strong commercial and operational rationale to do so.
